You're Not Alone—I Understand What You're Going Through.

Hi, I'm Rhenda Hodnett, PhD, LCSW

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by life’s challenges, health problems, the fear of aging, or uncertainty about your purpose beyond your career, I understand. I’ve been there too.

By the age of 25, I was divorced, a single mom, and a college dropout.  I was struggling to find my direction.  Despite significant obstacles, I persisted—earning my PhD, leading Louisiana’s child welfare system, but facing major health setbacks along the way. Like many, I neglected self-care until retirement loomed, forcing me to confront my health and identity.

Through relentless research, I discovered six key areas essential for long-term wellness. These insights transformed my life, empowering me to reclaim my health and purpose. Today, my passion is guiding you to achieve the same lasting transformation.

You are never alone on this journey—let’s walk it together.

My Mission Is Helping You Thrive!

Today, my passion is helping those who, like me, have spent their lives prioritizing others at the expense of their own health. I guide individuals and organizations through:

Whether I’m working with mission-driven organizations or individuals facing major life transitions, my approach combines professional expertise with personal experience. I know the challenges of reclaiming well-being after years of putting others first, and I’m here to guide you with compassion, practical strategies, and proven methods.

My greatest joy comes from helping others transform their relationship with wellness, creating lives and organizations where service and self-care work hand in hand.
