As we move through midlife and beyond, we will all experience major life transitions, such as
identity or role changes due to retirement; empty nest; relationship status; or assuming caregiving responsibilities. Other common transitions involve physical or mental health concerns such as diabetes, hypertension, depression, or insomnia. And the list goes on.
Stress caused by fear, uncertainty, or overwhelm, often impacts your lifestyle choices which in turn can impact your health and longevity, An intentional, yet realistic approach is essential.
The research is strong and compelling regarding key areas that have a significant impact on aging well. Most importantly they are within your control, and even tiny tweaks to your everyday routine can produce massive results over time.
Our lifespan is increasing, but our "health span," is not! Genes account for approximately 25% of your longevity - the rest is a result of your environment formed by the daily habits we choose.
