Who am I?
Nana, mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend, and solopreneur - all roles that bring me joy! After taking the long road - graduating from college at the age of 30 - I began my career in social work, spending 30+ years doing the hard work that God called me to do. Along the way I earned a MSW and PhD, and was blessed with a wonderful husband, 3 children by birth, 2 by marriage, and our own tribe of beautiful grandchildren.
But like many mission-driven leaders, my calling, my career, and my identity had become intertwined over the years, and when I retired I felt rudderless. To make matters worse, I was forced to acknowledge the toll that a lifetime of service to a demanding career had taken on me.
I began studying under some of the world's leading coaches and ultimately mastered a process for navigating this transition with more confidence and optimism than I ever imagined.
Now, my passion has evolved into helping those who have spent their lives focused on others at the expense of their own health and wellbeing, to redefine their purpose, discover a new social network, embrace continuous growth and learning, and focus on the core tenants of their health and wellness to live each day to its fullest.
